Why Depentra exists
Programmes rarely fail because of the task that slipped. They fail because of the tasks downstream nobody knew were connected. Most tools record the slip; almost none of them answer the question that actually matters in the meeting: if this task moves, what else moves? Depentra was built around answering that question. Everything in the product, the Gantt engine, the Impact Matrix, the critical path, resources, risks, and budget, exists in service of answering it faster and more completely.
Who builds it
Depentra is independently built by its founder, Preerapong K. There is no growth team and no sales floor: the person who builds the product also answers the support inbox, which keeps the feedback loop between a problem you report and a fix that ships very short. You can see that loop in public on the changelog.
That independence shapes the product. There are no investors asking for engagement metrics, so there are no dark patterns, no lock-in tricks, and no pressure to grow the tool beyond what delivery teams actually need.

Every feature exists to move information from "we found out too late" to "we saw it coming". Foresight is the product.
Plain English
No jargon in the interface, no mystery in the pricing, no legalese where a sentence will do.
Respect the plan
The plan of record is sacred. Simulation is sandboxed, changes are audited, and undo is always one click away.
Fast is a feature
A tool you wait for is a tool you stop using. Sub-second renders and instant propagation are requirements, not aspirations.
