Getting started

Duplicating a project, and company templates

Copy a project with exactly the parts you choose, or save it as a versioned template your organization can start from.

Duplicate

On the Projects page, open a project's menu and choose Duplicate. Tick what to copy: tasks, dependencies, views, dashboard configuration, properties, risks, resources and budget caps are ticked; workflows are not (they arrive switched off when ticked). Members, comments, files, activity history, baselines and AI conversations are never copied. The copy stays in the same workspace.

Company templates

Project settings, Template, Save as template turns a project into a template for your organization: its structure and plan, with tasks dated from the start and progress, actual dates and owners reset. Saving again makes the next version; every version is kept.

Start a project from one in Settings, Organization, Templates (or the Company template card in New project, once there is one). A project remembers the template and version it came from and never changes when the template does.
