Project Staffing template

A delivery plan staffed with named people and hours, so the Workload view shows who is stretched in which phase and the Budget view what they cost.

What's included

The same phased plan a delivery manager already runs, with the missing half filled in: every task carries the resources doing it and the hours it needs, and every resource carries a role, a daily capacity and a rate. Workload reads the assignments week by week and flags the phase where the lead architect is on three things at once; Budget turns hours and rates into planned cost. Move a task in the simulator and the over-allocation moves with it.

5 statuses that match the work

Statuses are the board's columns and the filters everywhere else. The one marked complete counts a task as done; edit the list any time.

  1. Not started
  2. In progress
  3. Blocked
  4. In review
  5. Complete
Built-in dependency logic

15 links, so a slip shows up where it lands

The longest chain in the template. Every link is real: the Gantt draws it, the Impact view scores it, and the simulator moves everything downstream when you delay a task.

  1. Engagement kickoff and planMobilise · feeds 3 tasks

  4. Design sign-offDesign · feeds 2 tasks
  5. Build sprint 2Build · feeds 2 tasks
  6. System and acceptance testingTest
  7. AcceptanceTest
  8. Handover and closureClose

1 more linked step between these. Delay Engagement kickoff and plan and Depentra shows the 12 downstream tasks it reaches, the milestones that move, and by how many days, before anyone accepts the slip.
